Procedure for Submitting Research Proposals to Basic Research Committee
Please prepare research proposals according to the following outline:

Background: Short description of the intended work with reference to related research, state of the science and how such work is related to the proposed undertaking. |

Justification: A description of the applications, uses and impact of the project to the seed trade. |
| 7. |
Experimental Plan: Outline of the work including approaches, procedures and methods. |
| 8. |
Duration: Number of years for which support is being requested. Three years is the maximum. |
| 9. |
Proposed Budget: Summary of costs for project in tabular form by years: salaries, travel, expendable supplies, funds from other sources, total. |
